What Counselling and Coaching Services Offer

Tanja’s philosophy in working with clients is to meet each individual’s needs as effectively as possible. The emphasis is on listening to what clients want to achieve, working collaboratively with them to create an action plan, and supporting/motivating each person along his/her path to change. Counselling services are designed to tackle more challenging and long-standing issues, while coaching can help to focus clients in achieving specific goals.

Making the decision to initiate counselling can be a scary and overwhelming experience. Finding the right fit with your psychologist is critical, and Dr. Tanja understands that. She always meets with new clients for a free initial half hour in-office consultation to answer any of your questions, hear a bit about what you would like from therapy, and share a bit about her approach with you. Ways to Use Dr. Tanja’s Services Include:

To consult, plan, and implement a change effort

To help clients design their desired futures

To formulate action plans to achieve personal and/or professional goals

To help individuals who are facing challenges related to a variety of issues such as stress, depression, and low self-esteem

To assist couples in enhancing or improving their relationships

A portion of the cost for psychological services may be covered by extended health insurance – please check with your representative.

Please note that there is a firm 24 hour cancellation policy in place when booking sessions. Less than 24 hours notice will result in a full session fee.

The goal you set must be challenging. At the same time, it should be realistic and attainable, not impossible to reach. It should be challenging enough to make you stretch, but not so far that you break.
